Birmingham Southern College just announced that they will be resetting the price of tuition and mandatory fees for the 2018-19 academic school year. They will reduce it to $17,650 what it was 15 years ago. In doing so, Birmingham Southern College takes the lead in prestigious private colleges to respond to college affordability. Most families could not afford the $32,000 tuition. They would assume the doors are closed for them to go, but with this $14,350 decrease in tuition price it will open the door for more families to pick Birmingham Southern College to attend. This strategic plan should increase Birmingham Southern College attendance rate thus increasing the schools income.
