Wendy's New Tactic to get your Money
Wendy's knows you get hungry, and sometimes you want to invite or tell your friends you want to get lunch. Wendy's does not want to just advertise at that moment. They want to be the way you express all that. The company has partnered with the digital startup Tenor to produce GIFs that people can use to tell their friends that they are starving. People do not normally search for branded GIFs like chicken or hamburgers, but they search for things they want to express. Wendy's goal is to be able to weave itself into peoples daily communications when the need to express daily hunger strikes. The larger hope for Wendy's is that the branded GIFs will provide more inspiring ads, that will influence people to eat their instead of somewhere else.
